Hello, neighbor!

We invite you to get acquainted with your Neighborhood Association.

You Belong!

Did you know that if you live in the boundaries of the Harborview-Seahurst-Glenhaven Neighborhood, a non-profit, non-dues association, you are automatically a member? This being the case, we welcome you to join us and bring along fresh ideas.

Under the umbrella of the City of Everett's Office of Neighborhoods, the Harborview-Seahurst-Glenhaven Neighborhood Association was established in June 1990. We are currently one of 18 such neighborhood groups located within the City of Everett.

Purpose

Meetings

We meet at 6:30 pm, with the formal meeting beginning at 7:00 pm, on the 3rd Tuesday of each month (except for July and August). Our current meeting location is in the meeting room at the Fire Station located at Glenwood and Merrill Creek Parkway. In addition, there is a Steering Committee made up of officers and interested members who set future agendas and discuss topical issues. This group usually meets the Wednesday of the week following the regular meeting. All members are welcome to attend.

An outline of a typical meeting is as follows:

Newsletters

A neighborhood newsletter is prepared monthly, outlining the upcoming meeting agenda and providing minutes of the previous meeting, along with pertinent official and general information on what is happening in our neighborhood.

Newsletter editions are available as pdf files (free program, Adobe Acrobat Reader required).

The Last Word

There you have a picture of what the Harborview-Seahurst-Glenhaven Neighborhood Association is all about. The only piece that is missing is YOU! We encourage you to solicit your ideas via email, telephone, in person or in writing. Without question, the health of the community depends on the involvement of us all.

So, how about it? Come and join us.
